Sugar Boots - Graphic Content

I’m a regular shoe shopper, being female and all. I don’t shop ‘willie nillie’ mind you; I’m very particular about what footwear I do buy. I mustn’t have a plain style and there are some colours for me that just don’t fit. Black. Can’t be doing with black.

However, I have recently come across a style of footwear from a company called Sugar Boots, who operate out of a familiar British-based footwear website, who not only cater for the plain tastes of others with stylish shoes, but also provide for the slightly more outlandish requirements of women like myself.

I looked at this website, and came across a pair of “party polka plus”, inventive enough a title in itself. I looked at the picture of these boots and was quite intrigued. They are black, so I was slightly disappointed at the start. But the black was only the base colour. On top of that was enough colour to make Alan Titchmarsh’s back garden look like a botched Picasso. Blue and pink flowers dotted all over the boots add to a maze of polka-dot designing along the upper. Needless to say, I was drawn in to the simply insane patterns before me.

On top of that, there were rave reviews about how comfortable these boots actually were (no, I’m not stupid enough to buy a shoe or boot just because it looks nice, so you know), and that’s what bowled me over. A seriously noticeable pattern, with a design there to keep you supported and comfortable. It’s even got belt buckle-esque ties, for easy adjustment and removal. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to find a fairly specialist brand providing exactly what a ‘normal’ consumer was looking for.

Needless to say, I have now started buying a pair of each style from the entire Sugar Boots range. Two down, how many to go? Not enough. Oh yeah, the website was http://www.fashionshop.co.uk
